The Remote Examiner device enables you to check the serviceability and signal power for remote controls like Radio Frequency 315Mhz, 433Mhz, 868Mhz, Infrared signal & Vehicles transponder coil signal.

Basic Operations:
  • Press the Power button for 3 seconds to switch on Remote Examiner
  • Press Select button to shift between modes (Radio, Coil & Infrared)
  • The Radio Frequency value and Battery voltage (Voltage Supply Detector) will appear on LCD Screen.
  • Place the remote control over the device and press any button.
  • Check the operation for all remote's buttons.
Infrared Remote Control Checking:
  • Select I-Red mode, point IR remote control at the receiver located at the top of the device and press any button on remote control.
  • Buzz sound will be heard and battery level will be displayed on the device's screen.
  • Press the power button for 3 seconds to switch the device off.
Vehicles Transponder Coil Signal Checking:
  • Simply select COIL mode, place Remote Examiner near the testing source (eg. Near ignition lock and turn ignition ON)
  • Frequency of the radio transmission and the level of a signal will be displayed on LED screen if the ignition coil works properly.
Auto Power Off:
  • The device will turn off automatically if it does not detect external input signals (RF and IR) for approximately 45 seconds when it is on batter mode
  • Remote Examiner does not turn off automatically when it is connected to USB power.
